Memoirs: Clothes Show Live

Here are a few images from my time at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham. I had wanted to go for ages, but due to budget constraints I wasn’t able. But I retweeted a tweet and managed to win tickets from ASOS Marketplace! I never win anything! Who knew Twitter could be so useful?

It was a brilliant day full of fashion, beauty, make up and more, but it would be better if I’d had more time and money. There were loads of discounts on offer from some of the biggest beauty brands in the UK that were specific to the Clothes Show only. I bought a Barry M and Models Own giftset, as if I don’t already have enough make-up, but there is always room for more! They were both worth around £50 each, so it was well the £10 I paid for each set. Obviously there were some items I would never use, for example pastel green glitter eyeliner, but I’m sure someone on eBay would find use for them.

The best part of the day was the fashion show, the models and the outfits were absolutely stunning. Luckily the majority of the outfits were from the high street so it was brilliant to be able to actually see something in-store too.

I would definitely go again but make sure I bring my credit card next time!

A Little Bit About Me

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up.  I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
