…So maybe I’ve been a little bit naughty and purchased a few things! But not to fear, I started a new job last week and all I can say is that I thought I’d reward myself. Plus, my spending ban applies to full-priced items and Asos were doing 25% for students (My student card still works, haha), so why not!
I purchased the lion earrings seen in my previous wish list post, a pair of black gladiator sandals, black studded dip hem top and an oversized t-shirt with a black fleur-de-lys print. Usually when I order stuff from Asos, I end up sending most of it back, but this was probably the first time I have kept everything!
1)The lion earrings are absolutely gorgeous and they add a little something to a plain outfit, I’m terrible with studs, I really hope I don’t lose them. Best thing about them is that they’re light, I hate having to take earrings halfway through my day because they’re too heavy.
2) I’d had this t-shirt in my saved items for months, I think I’ve sorta outgrown the ‘printed tee’ look, but there was something about this that I loved. Maybe it was the slouchy fit or the elegant logo. This is a gorgeous fit and great quality. So far I’ve tried the monochrome trend and worn it with black treggings, black and white Nike blazers and my grey leather waterfall jacket. How would you wear it?
3) Gladiator sandals, in January? You must think I’m mad, but I had to have these! I love lace-up gladiator sandals and I always seem to wear mine to death every summer. They look great, but the quality of the sole is terrible, kind of like a spongey/plasticy material. I don’t see these lasting very long, so I might invest in a similar leather pair.
4) Last but not least is this black dip-hem top with studded shoulders. I was more tempted to purchase it with the 25% off as £30 is a bit steep, or maybe I’m just cheap? It comes up absolutely massive, but I love it, great for work, dinner with friends, or those days where you fancy a little bit of edge. I’ll be wearing this with black treggings and black biker boots.
