I’m a strong believer in the phrase ‘if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry’. Crying of laughter isn’t necessarily a bad thing and who can complain when you’re on your way to developing abs from those belly-crunching laughter moments.
Some of the best ways to have these moments is just snuggling in on the weekend (or any night of the week) with some comedy films. I don’t know about you but whether you’re alone or with friends, there is is nothing laughter to make you forget about any of those dreaded ‘January blues‘. Society keeps telling us to reduce ourselves in all we are and there is that tinge of guilt along the way.
I say forget that, live and laugh and…
If you’re not someone who usually reaches for comedy films (I’m more of a horror kinda gal), some great options are:
- Doc Hollywood
- Yes Man
- Due Date
- Two Weeks Notice
- Horrible Bosses
You can purchase this great comedy bundle here.

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up. I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
