Continuing on from my last post, I thought I’d provide you with a little snapshot of where I’ve been and the things I got up to on my travels over the years…
Barcelona – 2010
Barcelona was probably my first proper city-break and looking back I realised I made so many rookie travel errors. At the time, my friend was living in a town just past Manchester so me being me decided to get on a Megabus 6 hours up North to catch a 3 hour flight. I’m not sure where to logic is in this, or if I saved money, but this was pretty stupid. I could have just met her in Barcelona to make life easier, but when you’re a uni student you really do have plenty of time on your hands. I really liked Barcelona, it was the perfect European city break with the beach, tons of beautiful architecture, great food and a great vibe. I will definitely go back soon because I hear the W hotel is great for cocktails and if you know me, I’m a sucker for a rooftop bar.
Barbados – 2014
The only other Caribbean island I’d been to before this was the Dominican Republic and I had high hopes for Barbados. It was everything I wanted it to be and more…. I’m so excited to be going back in a couple of months. Stay tuned for my blogs about it!
Majorca – 2016
This was a random trip last August, but came at the perfect time. We didn’t do much but relax, eat and explore so I’m not actually sure I will get round to blogging about it. I may just do a photo post instead – let me know if you’d like to read a detailed post though?
Italy
Milan – 2016
You can read about my solo yolo adventures in Milan here. I really needed some head space, to challenge myself and just get out of London for a few days, so this was the perfect trip. My flights were cheaper than a pair of Joni jeans from Topshop and that just makes you think about the opportunities out there for us today.
If you’re ever wanting to travel solo, do it. Even if you decide you don’t like it, just get it out of your system…
Rome – 2015
Rome, similar to Paris, is a beautiful city enriched with history, amazing food and lots to learn. You can read about my adventures here. What I loved most about this city is how everything was so old, it was such a contrast to the London skyline that is forever changing.

I’m heading off to Rome later in the year and I’m so excited for it! I’ve previously visited Venice but that’s all I’ve seen of Italy. I haven’t been to Spain in years and I’d like to go back x
