Please excuse my lateness with posting this… but it does mean I’ve been able to try some of the products I kindly received at the event, so think of this as a mini-review too… I still don’t know how Scarlett manages to pull off these amazing events without a hitch but mad props to her as always!
BlogConLDN – Event Roundup
I headed on down to BlogConLDN with my personal meme tagger, Mariah from Its Mariah Jean and we navigated ourselves around the QEII venue together. Not knowing where to begin, we decided to head to the far end of the room and try and work our way around. This is probably one of the biggest blogger events I’ve been to and it was much more spread out than I’m used to.
Here are a few of the brands I spoke to:
Cute Nutrition specialise in low calorie nutrition products for women such as shakes and bars. I love that they stray away from the ordinary flavours like banana and strawberry (which they do sell too), but have a little more adventurous ones like Pina Colada and Strawberry Daquiri. Now you’re talking my language… I can’t wait to start using my protein shaker. Now, which flavour do I order? You can find their product range here.
The Johnny Loves Rosie travel wallet caught my eye as I’m always on the hunt for travel accessories I don’t really need. It’s pretty affordable as well as their gorgeous range of jewellery which would make a lovely treat for yourself or a loved one. Their products are available here.
The Good Guru are another brand that specialise in products that promote healthy living and wellbeing. I love that their range is designed to go with things like oats and granola, showing you can make swaps and still have taste. You can find out all about being a Good Guru here.
You are indeed loved. I was drawn to this gorgeous sign as it was different from any neon sign I’d seen before. Love Inc (have an eclectic range of interior items that would feel right at home in Shoreditch or Vegas. Best of all, you can order a totally bespoke one for yourself too which is prompts the question – What would you want on yours?
Trek America is a company I was super excited to meet especially as I seem to visiting the US every few months or so these days. Essentially, Trek America specialise in all sorts of American adventures with experienced tour guides who know every nook and cranny of where they are. My plan was always to take 3-6 months off life and travel but I can’t do that anymore (well right now anyway). Knowing that Trek America is around is great as it means I can see more of the US and not have to fret about not having enough annual leave! I would LOVE to do the ‘Deep South BLT’ tour as New Orleans has been calling my name for some time now… You can find out more about Trek America’s adventures here and mine here.
Bleat PR who were representing STM Goods were also present showcasing their colourful range of laptop, tablet and phone cases. It was great to find out more about the brand and products, particularly the innovative the ‘Grace’ laptop bag which is stylish and really does protect your laptop. Who said protection had to be boring? Who would have thought this sentence would be on my blog either.
Natural World were a brand I’d met a few times before and I’m always interested in finding out about their new ranges. They were also offering braids on the day too! I’ve reviewed their Argan oil range here and I highly recommend their products especially on my dry dry hair!
Just Beauty
I was lucky enough to have a gel mani which saved me doing my nails that week (score). Just Beauty are an online beauty haven where they sell everything from waxing, to hair to their brilliant gel nail kits. You can check them out here.
Merumaya were also in tow and their stand was all about the mantra that beauty has no age. I completely agree. Beauty is eternal. I was given a sample of their cleansing balm which I haven’t tried yet but it’s the perfect size for hand luggage. You can order it here.
Mashooq Hair are a brand I’d never heard of, but I was particularly drawn to, as I love trying new hair products. They gave me one of their deep pentrating hair oils which I am yet to try but will do soon. It contains six natural oils: almond, coconut, olive, palm, sunflower and wheatgerm. Oil me up… You can find out more about them here.
Chi Chi London had a gorgeous collection of dresses on display and I was particularly drawn to them as I have a few weddings this year. Sadly, none of them are my own. I’m not someone who wears much colour, but I may just be tempted with Chi Chi. They do everything from curve to petite and you can find something for a special occasion (or just everyday) here.
Please note, some of the products mentioned in this post were given to me as a sample, but all views are my own because I have an opinion duh.
