The So Eco Brush Kit is entirely eco-friendly, from the bristles to the packaging, you can count on them being 100% ethically sourced. It is great to know they’re even made from bio-degradable materials from PEFC sources, right down to the planet friendly vegetable inks and compostable windows used. A rarity these days as some makeup and tools appear to be eco-friendly but come shrouded in tons of packaging that isn’t.
The So Eco brushes come in a handy case which is great for travel and displaying the brushes on your dresser. The material it is made from even allows it to be washed too, so you don’t need to worry about your foundation or powdered products getting on to it.
But let’s get on to the brushes, they’re made from bamboo and have gold ferrules and soft taklon bristles all whilst being ergonomic. If you’re like me and spend 2398432 hours a year on the computer, you may suffer from a touch of repetitive strain injury. The design of these brushes are well thought out and are a welcome comfort when doing my everyday makeup.
What’s inside?
Angled Contour Brush – The perfect brush for powder contour. Who needs the Kim K contour kit when you have this?
Tapered Blending Brush – Brilliant for eyeshadow and undereye baking.
Round Foundation Brush – I loved this foundation brush, especially when used with my favourite Nars foundation. It really got into every nook and cranny of my face and applied the product really smoothly.
Lip Brush – I actually use the lip brush as an inner eye corner highlight brush and it really picked up an ample amount of product. I am yet to try it as a lip brush BUT I think it would be great for liquid lipsticks and without using a lipliner.
