Earlier this year I wrote a post on how to avoid spending money on beauty purchases this year and whilst I may have splurged a little on a few products, I love shopping my own stash. It’s so good to remember what you have, switch it up and create some different looks. What does frazzle me when getting ready for work or more glam looks is the absolute mess I make when reaching for my make up…
The first make up storage case I got to grips with was the black velvet make up carry case.
As a frequent traveller, I was drawn to this case as it was sleek, minimal and had a ton of compartments. I could see myself taking it on long-haul trips or in UK staycations when I want to bring EVERYTHING with me. I loved that it had a ton of different compartments that opened out and neatly slotted back in when not in use. This allowed me to sort through all my make up, see what I needed to throw out and neatly store it by the type of product.
Since I’ve been using it for the past month, it’s made getting ready less stressful and more fun. I feel happy knowing everything has a place. It’s also made me reach for products I haven’t used in a while as I can actually see them!
The other storage case I tried was a clear case with a similar pull out feature to the black velvet case. I knew this would be perfect for my many lip products. At first I organised them by brand then I gave up and just organised them anyhow but what I loved most is that I could proudly store them on my dresser.
Overall, Beautify provide good quality make up storage at an affordable price. Who doesn’t want to be organised? They’re great for displaying all your products and perfect for home or professional use. Is this a chance to purchase more make up now so I can buy more storage?

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up. I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
