Musings: Forever Living Sonya Daily Skincare System – A Review

Back in March, I was sent some of the the recently launched Sonya skincare products which infuse the use of aloe vera and other beneficial ingredients. I always make it a regular habit to switch up my skincare routine based on the season, but own personal needs and just to try something new. I should mention that my skin type is more on the dry-side and I have an occasional oily t-zone.

In a nutshell…

“Made specifically for combination skin which can fluctuate and vary greatly, Sonya Daily Skincare features a high concentration of aloe and other moisturising botanicals. Nature meets science with a revolutionary gel-based technology that helps to deliver the benefits of aloe where your skin needs it most, plus its light texture leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Sonya Daily Skincare includes four powerful products:

• Sonya Refreshing Gel Cleanser: aloe gel and natural cleansers help remove dead cells, dirt and makeup.

• Sonya Illuminating Gel: a quick-absorbing gel that gives a soft, smooth and even complexion that glows.

• Sonya Refining Gel Mask: an over-night mask that controls oil and brightens the appearance of skin.

• Sonya Soothing Gel Moisturizer: a gel-based lotion that uses powerful ingredients to moisturise and improve the look of combination skin.”

Even though the range is made for combination skin, the season, the environment you’re in can mean that you can use skincare tailored to it. Best of all, the range uses revolutionary gel-based technology to help deliver the benefits of aloe where your skin needs it most. Best of all: “The individual products in Sonya Daily Skincare are ‘fragrance free’ since no artificial fragrance has been added to the formulas. Instead the aromas derive from natural botanicals and fruit extracts.”

My Thoughts?

Refreshing Gel Cleanser

This product has now become my saviour when taking off a day’s make up. I’m used to using micellar water and then a cleanser, but the refreshing gel cleanser made my routine a little quicker. Not only that, it didn’t feel leave my skin feeling stripped and raw.

Illuminating Gel

I absolutely loved the illuminating gel underneath a lightweight foundation as it gave me that ‘ natural glow’ without piling on the highlight. I will DEFINITELY be making use of this over summer.

Soothing Gel Moisturiser

The soothing gel moisturiser worked best for me in the evening after using the cleanser and being in the dirty city that is in London all day. It made my skin feel tight and supple after a few week’s use.

Refining Gel Mask

I used the gel mask a couple of times a week and noticed an improvement in the brightness of my skin. It felt more even and didn’t have a dull tinge to it.

The range is priced at £82.81  and available to purchase here. Are you tempted to try the Forever Living Sonya Daily Skincare System range?

A Little Bit About Me

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up.  I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
