Palmer’s is a brand I have been familiar with since I was a kid. I remember the only place to purchase the products was the black hair shop but these days I can find them online or in Superdrug or Boots. My favourite product to this day is the cocoa butter in the round tub which keeps my dry skin smooth and nourished all year round.
I was kindly sent some hairmasks from their new Queens of Nature range and here is how I got on over the past 6 weeks.
I should remind you that my hair is currently bleached blonde (and curly) meaning it needs all the TLC it can get. At the moment alternate weeks where I use heat so it isn’t over processed and over fried. When it’s curly I tend to keep it in a bun and moisturised but when it’s straight I tend to use less product as it weighs it down and starts to resemble Professor Snape from Harry Potter.
I kept this mask in for a little longer than recommended (2 hours) as my hair needs it. I then rinsed it through and left it to air dry. It left my curls defined!
This was my absolute favourite mask as it really transformed the way my hair felt after straightening. It was so soft and shiny. This is great for colour treated hair and I will be implementing this into my routine at least once a month from now on.
I’ve been using this sparingly but so far so good!
“We use ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients. As members of the World Cocoa Foundation and Global Shea Alliance, Palmer’s helps empower farmers & communities to create and promote healthy, sustainable production from farm to bottle.”
This is a intensive deep conditioning hair treatment with the addition of Amla Oil, Cocoa and Shea Butter. Sounds glorious doesn’t it? I absolutely loved the smell of this mask but found it didn’t work as well as the two mentioned above. I think this would work best on fine hair but it’s still pretty good.
“We are committed to choosing what’s real using natural, raw ingredients in our products while being sulfate free, paraben free and phthalate free. We strive to use fair trade and organic ingredients when possible.”
Selected products available from Superdrug, Boots, Tesco and, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and Online at FeelUnique and Ocado. Find out more about Palmer’s here.

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up. I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
