Musings: My Skincare Routine with Biotulin

Please note, this is a collaborative post with Biotulin.

2020 has been a year where I said to myself to slow and take it easy. Little did I know I would be enforced by the UK government to actually slow down and take it easy. I am currently day 14 or 15 into quarantine and only allowed out for essentials or exercise. Is this prison. No? But it sure feels like it. I am typing this from a place of privilege where I am fortunate enough to work from home. I am sending love and support to the key workers across the globe working tirelessly to treat the pandemic patients and keep things going.

Whilst I am sat at home however, I have had time to finally write up the skincare routine that’s been working for me for the majority of 2020. This year may be cancelled but your routine doesn’t have to be. am a strong believer in changing up your products every so often so your skin doesn’t get to used to them and it starts having the opposite effect. I wouldn’t recommend this for sensitive skin types though. And if you’re ever unsure, ask for a sample or purchase a travel size bottle if it is available.

That leads me on nicely to two new products I have implemented into my routine from a brand called Biotulin; those being the ‘Supreme Skin Gel’ and the ‘Eyematrix Lifting Concentrate Creme’. I am turning 30 this year and there is always that ‘pressure’ to have something done to freeze the ageing process but if you look after yourself (or make an attempt to), you can find products that work for you. If you are wondering my usual skincare routine goes something like this:

Here is how I got on with Biotulin…

“The eyeMATRIX combines ingredients from Biotulin and Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. This innovative combination of active ingredients provides immediate and visible results around the eye.”

“Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil has a skin caring effect, smoothes and softens the skin. Biotulin is a combination of active ingredients that specifically reduces wrinkles with a direct effect. One of the the main component of Biotulin is spilanthol, an extract obtained from paracress. It acts as a local herbal anaesthetic. Hyaluron supports the effectiveness of Biotulin. Hyaluronic acid additionally cushions the skin, supports collagen and elastic fibres. Its optically skin tightening and smoothing effect is immediately visible.”

I am always a little dubious about eye creams as I haven’t had much luck in the past with them or perhaps I haven’t found the right one! However, the Eyematrix Lifting Concentrate Creme really worked for me. I suffer from hyperpirgmentation which has a tendency to make me look permanently tired but with consistent use I noticed a difference in 4 weeks. My eyes looked brighter, tighter and I felt confident on those make up free days.

Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel

Less wrinkles and a visibly younger look within 60 minutes!

Developed and produced in Germany, this extract is comparable to needle injections containing Botulinum Toxin. The results are similar, but it’s much simpler to use. Biotulin is applied to the face as a soothing lotion. It is quickly absorbed, smoothing the skin to make it soft and supple. Unlike needle injections, it does not numb your face or restrict your facial expressions. Your features will still be reanimated and beautiful.

Biotulin gel is incredibly economical – only a small amount is needed. Apply a small drop of Biotulin gel evenly on the face and neck area and massage gently into the skin. Skin is visibly firmer after just one hour, and this will last for up to 24 hours. Use Biotulin gel before applying your daily skincare products.”

Somehow I am turning 30 this year and as I mentioned in this post, one cannot help but think about the signs of ageing and how to reverse them. My only areas of reaal concern are around my eyes and my smile lines. Make up only hides so much and I always think a good skincare routine makes your make up look flawless.

After using the Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel once I immediately noticed the difference in my skin texture. It made my face feel firm, supple and tight. Who needs botox? Even though the bottle size is 15ml, a little goes a long way and I found that I only needed to use it once per day or every other day depending on if I was going out or not. With continuous use I am happy to say Biotulin worked for me. Time to remove the ‘get botox before I turn 30’ reminder from diary now!

About Me

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up.  I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
