Musings: Brand New Shoes & Where To Wear Them

The shoes were gifted by Lace and Favour

I was kindly gifted these gorgeous shoes from Lace and Favour and I haven’t stopped staring at them. They’re higher than what I usually go for but sometimes you have to go high or go home. That got me thinking, I haven’t been out in a while and where exactly am I going to wear them?

Around the house

It’s a proven fact that wearing heels or any new shoes around the house is the best way to break them in. Whilst I may not be the environment you’ll wear them in in real life it will certainly help as the shoes will begin to mould to the shape of your feet.

To work

If you’re like me and wear the plainest work outfits, shoes like this would be a great way to jazz up your outfit and add a little fun around the office. Best of all they transition from day to night very well…

On a date?

To a wedding

What these shoes were made for, whether you’re the bride, bridesmaid, maid of honour or just a guest, these heels are perfect! Not only that the colour means they’re not too OTT either so they’ll suit a nude palette just as well as a dark colour palette.

A Little Bit About Me

Welcome to my little space on the internet, known as Memoirs and Musings. I’m Char, short for Charlotte and my blog/website/diary is dedicated to documenting my Memoirs and Musings, hence the name. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flatlay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced make up.  I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
